Blog Post Numero Dos

In the library the other day it was completely packed. It was almost impossible to find an empty seat. However if in a place that is paced like this i still feel it be be kind of up beat and everyone happy. Like, yeah every once in a while someone is extremely stressed out over homework that is do or a big midterm that is tomorrow night. The fact that it is so bright there and that there are windows everywhere helps this problem, it makes it a very relaxing and welcoming place to be. The new Thomson library i think that it really helps the students, i know it helps me out so much and i see hundreds of people there daily.

The library, yes it is meant for studying but people also go there for other reasons, some people just go there to relax during the day in between classes. Even just go up to the eleventh floor and that view is sweet, and the atmosphere up there is so laid back and kind of up beat. Little to say i love the new library, last year i went to the other library's a total of twice i think and with the new library it would not be uncommon if i was there twice in one day.

  1. Nice analysis, Bob, though a little on the short side. You've pointed out good details and what they do for the building. Also, your description reminds me of the library at my college, where we would often stop in for a power nap in the stacks in between classes. Good times.

  2. I love the library too. It's interesting that you point out how the lighting makes it more welcoming and relaxing. I go there a lot too. I feel like it is the perfect studying environment.
